Cape Porpoise Exploring the hidden gem of Cape Porpoise gives me a feeling of pure delight. It’s a magical combination of fishermen hauling lobster traps, fresh seafood right off the boat and unassuming, salt weathered fishing shacks. My Aunt Jane who lives in the area likes to scout out sketching spots for me along one of the country roads in this quiet fishing village which is part of Kennebunkport. In this piece I like the way the big geometric shapes of the shacks and dock play off each other and give the piece an almost abstract quality.
